exercise your music muscle

this is an add campaign that virgin did a while back i think. all the different elements in there are spose to represent different band names – 74 in total supposedly. you have to think pretty outside the square to get some … then some are really easy like ‘gorillas’ or ‘the rolling stones’. Click the photo if you want to download a larger version so that you can see all the intricate details.

If you search the web you can find the full list of bands and stuff, but I like doing these things … for a while … until they annoy me too much. I have never really tried to write down all the ones that I have figured out … I think I did alright.

obey the godfather

Sunday, August 27th, 2006

I really like this artist (or company/brand I guess it is now) that goes under the name obey. He has a really cool style and really distinctive. You would have seen it on the ‘walk the line’ artwork and maybe some other places. They did these godfather posters which I thought were really cool. Check them out – (unfortunately none of michael. sounds like they had legal trouble or something):

sebastian means “revered”

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

revere him? I love him! Sebastian is my new nephew, and even though all my nephews are as kick ass as one another, this post is dedicated to the new little man I ‘feel deep respect or admiration for’ (that there is the meaning of revere). Here’s to sebastian!

I did this up the other night – I thought it would be cool to use something like this for my business logo … don’t know if we would ever use it for anything. I guess I always want to look professional and stuff. “here is my business card. email me sometime … yeah! that is my business being yelled out by the indescribable critter! Priceless!”
