There is this graffiti artist called Crash who was employed by Fender to paint 50 strats. Some of the stuff that he has come up with is amazing. Most of them are painted all over the body with crazy patterns and colours – they look amazing. Eric Clapton has one that has made the whole thing pretty famous (his one is wild – one of the best), John Mayer has a few.

I love this one – it isn’t as full on as some of the other designs. The beauty of the strat is left in tact but the design on the pickguard takes it to a whole new level. Would love to see one in real life.

These got me keen. Looks like they are going to include Venom this time round.

Last night I went and saw Sarah Blasko at newtown with Christian and Ben Young. I really love her music but I didn’t know what to expect from her live show – the cd’s are so layered and I couldn’t really picture how it would translate on stage.

It seems that she had thought of this! There was a tonne of people on the stage, all moving round and swapping instruments. Her voice was perfect; didn’t miss a note. A little shy with the audience, but when the music started she was alive.

Ben pointed out this shadow on the wall and I was able to get a shot of it. I thought it came out well with the green.

Jason Shogreen is pretty amazing. His art is really out there; he takes really cute drawings and gives them really twisted meanings.
