When I was a kid Christmas was all about 2 things: Tonnes or presents and swimming in the pool. It is really funny to see how not much has changed for the new generation in our family. This is Jasper having fun at my parents pool yesterday.

Tahl got a PSP so being the supportive uncle I took much interest and let him allow me to play it all day.

Well, another christmas over. I hope that we all celebrated this time how the baby Jesus would want us to; by indulging in consumerism and tallying up the money that can be made from the returned presents.

As well as my 400D I was lucky enough to receive a few other things. Here were some of the much anticipated items:

Debbie and Michael came around tonight for our first Christmas dinner. It was great. They brought all these presents. I got a massive soft dart Shotgun! It has these soft bullets and when you cock it and shoot the cap spits out the side – classic.

Debbie and Laura got given hand gun versions. We set up targets and had some practice. Was a good night.

thefifthnation played at newtown mission on Friday night at a program they called conversations. It was all about artists expressing themselves in their chosen skill.

It is such an amazing church – beautiful stained glass windows, tall ceilings, and they decorated it really well. I was fascinated by these lamps they had everywhere and I took some pictures of them.
