Last night I was shown Jamie Cullum’s version of Frontin’ by Pharrell Williams which is worth checking out. I am a bit skeptical of covers, especially when they are from bands I like (Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Hendrix) but if you see the album lying round a friends house, give it a spin and see what you think.

Also, just got an email telling me that my Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males album and their Pirate Radio EP (which came free with it – bonus) is on it’s way to my letterbox. Pretty keen. I have heard a bit off this album and I am hoping that it is a winner! I will have to wait till I get home from Albury until I can get my hands on it.

I won’t say much, you will just have to watch the trailer. Basically it is the new films from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez – two films in one.

I have seen these around a few places and today I found out what they were all about. Dunny is a character that is created by kidrobot. He is a blank action figure made of soft, smooth vinyl and kidrobot, and other artists that he asks, create whatever they want out of this shape. Some of them are really cool. Check them out here.

For those that don’t know, I got into Uni! This year, I will be heading off to UNSW to study a Bachelor of Music.

I am pretty excited … pretty scared too. I have always wanted to do this and so I have taken the big step and I am going to do it! Can’t wait.
