some people … they love cliff

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

Cliff Richard kept me motivated at work On Thursday I did my last day at Anglican Media. 4 long years I have been working there as a graphic designer, but no more. At my job before this one, when I left I took as much as I could with me: stationary, shoes, bags, clothes … anything I could get my hands on. This time there was only one thing I wanted.

One day when moving offices a lady I worked with found this original photo, that looks to be fairly old, of Cliff Richard when he was younger. She like it and put it up on the wall. When she moved to another job and left it behind, I swiped it and put it above my computer. I love it. Check him out! So suave, so sexy, so Cliff. Give the picture a click and bask in his glory.

(by the way – most photos on this website you can click and see bigger or click and it will take you somewhere. Some haven’t realised this and are missing out.)

I took these when Michael and I visited Korea and Italy together about 4 years ago! Can you notice the difference? Yeah, that is right, just the scenery change. The first one is in Seoul national park and the next is at Trevi Fountain in Rome.

I’ve been watching heaps of entourage lately. I paused the intro tonight and really liked some of the colours and patterns that I saw so I took photos.

Killcare wharf

I had a meeting at Killcare today. It is north of Gosford. I hadn’t been round this way in years. I really like it round there. Beautiful scenery and quiet little towns. I took this photo just before I left.

joseph smith live

Last night, a very brave friend of mine, Joseph Smith, performed at triple j’s Raw Comedy competition. I have got to say … I was pretty nervous for him. Joe is a funny guy – I have shared many a laughs with Joe … but stand up comedy is always going to be different. Crowds can be unpredictable and vicious.

But, once Joe hit the stage, that was all forgotten. One of the only good acts that night. Certainly the act that had the biggest reactions – they loved it.

Unfortunately Joe narrowly missed out on going through to the next round. At times during the night I was sure it was his for the taking. I was very entertained and very impressed. Joe’s five minutes were worth sitting through the other riff-raff. I’m looking forward to the next one!
