I have been wanting to post this on here for a while. I can link it in now.

Today I did my first practical … exam, I guess, at uni. I performed Lenny by Stevie Ray Vaughan. I felt kind of stupid when I got there any all the people in my class were performing amazing things by Bach and Debussy … then there is me … having a slap around some blues solo.

To my suprise it went down alright!

The picture is of SRV‘s amps and effects set up for his 1985 japan concerts. Many guitarists try and recreate SRV‘s sound and it has been pretty hard to find information on exactly what he used, that is why I found this interesting.

On the radio today, the news announcer closed off her bulletin with “… and it has been found that kids that wear Super Hero outfits hurt themselves more, than those who don’t, when they fall down.” Has our world gone completely crazy?

I went round Mum & Dad’s last night and accidently found my gameboy. So stoked. I am going to be reunited with all of my games on the way to Uni.

I started Uni this week. It has been pretty weird! After the first day I didn’t know what to think, but over the week I have gotten use to it. Met some people, found my way round. I took this today through some sculpture. The building is the library – that place is big and scary.
