Rain on the clothes line

When I was young and it was raining my Mum use to walk round the house and say “Rain Rain go away, come again another day”. Some people would say that she may be responsible for the drought, but I think that is a but of an unfair conclusion.

exhibito tezuka!

Luke and I went to check out an exhibition of Osama Tezuka’s at the NSW Art Gallery today. Tezuka was the creator of Astro Boy and Kimba.

Luke @ the Tezuka Exhibition

On each wall was original pages and covers – hand drawn and inked by Tezuka. The detail was astonishing. You could see the white out, the stuck down text and page numbers, the over-layed tracing paper and the corrected mistakes.

I took a photo of Luke checking out the Astro Boy stand. I mucked around with the photo and liked the look of it with severe blur.

Silverchair - Diorama Copeland - In Motion Ben Harper - Fight for your Mind

Phoenix - It’s Never Been Like That Shihad - The General Electric Ani Difranco - Revelling/Reckoning

These are some of my old albums that I have pulled from the cd tower to reacquaint myself with.

Sometimes I have a hankering for a certain song, sometimes I just forget what the album is like and have to check it out again, sometimes I have played it too much in the past and have left enough time that I can go back to it and enjoy it again.

Ani Difranco reminds me of late nights working.
