The Beach at Vincentia

Cervesa on the Porch Laura and the Dance Dance Revolution @ Ulladulla Funland My ‘Dentist at Ulladulla’ impersonation Our view from the balcony in the afternoon

Laura and I took a holiday this week and went south Vincentia. My Uncle John and Aunty Rob have a place there right on the beach – it is amazing.

It was great just to hang out, do not much, eat too much, and watch too much soccer (the tv has austar). We also took a day trip to Ulladulla and I relived my childhood memories at Funland. Was an absolute blast! Back to Uni next week. 5 more weeks to go to knock over 1st year.

Choir sketches 1 Choir Sketches

The other day during Choir I was feeling a bit sick … (sick of choir! BAM!). If you are feeling sick you are allowed to just watch rather than participate. While I was ‘watching’ I drew these few characters. None of them really have a point so don’t look for one.

Dreams

This is the film assignment that I was talking about. We were asked to make a 16 still shot short film with and original soundtrack. This is what I came up with!

You may not be able to appreciate the photos and the whole experience at its best, but you get the idea. Either click the image above or you can download the quicktime file here.

Cut Off Your Hands - Blue On Blue EP Mark Ronson - Version Soko - Not Sokute

Cut Off Your Hands have been getting me through the day. Blue on Blue has 4 of the happiest, fun, rock songs. Too much fun.

Mark Ronson is usually a producer – Version is his first album. Ronson has re-arranged songs by Radiohead, Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park, and Coldplay. Each one is so unique and impressive. I can’t describe it, but it is two notches above funky. Check out ‘Valerie’ or ‘Oh My God’.

I heard the cutest song the other day by Soko. It was called I’ll Kill Her. The rest of the EP isn’t as striking, but this song is something special. Her mix of singing and talking in that thick French accent is a real winner. Go here and download it.
