My Mac menu bar

I am in my last two weeks of uni, and I am spose to be studying … instead I have devoted my time to finding cool programs that will add icons to my menu bar. Don’t get it? There is nothing to get … can’t wait for the holidays.

Midlake Radiohead - In Rainbows Ben Harper - Lifeline

You know when you find some music that you are just so excited about? Midlake is that for me. I haven’t stop listening to their album ‘Trials of Van Occupanther‘ after I caught a remix of one of their songs on Triple J. The announcer said “they are decidedly like Fleetwood Mac” and even though I thought that was going to be a bad thing … it wasn’t. Go and download (for free) the remix here.

I thought I was on the ball when it came to Radiohead, but apparently not! They released a new album, In Rainbows last week, and that is not the best thing. The best thing is that if you go to their website inrainbows.com then you can download the album for as much as you choose to pay … and yes, that means $0 as well. I will save the review because everyone can afford to make up their own mind.

I have always been a fan of Ben Harper, but the last few albums I haven’t really got into. Lifeline however reminded me why I loved him. Some really beautiful songs, some downright funky and also some with edge which he does really well. I am at peace now that I can like him again.

The new addition my mornings

Laura and I bought one of these each when we were in Berry (near Vincentia). I love a good teacup. These are great – big, with a massive handle. I have been using it every morning.
