I have got to be honest, I didn't understand the trashing that <b>Speed Racer</b> got. I loved it. What was done with the colours was astounding. I was in love with it - excited like a little school boy the whole way through. <b>The Dark Knight</b> was intense. They did so many great things with the movie. It was really morbid and really gritty. I loved it. Heath Ledger is as captivating as everyone makes out too. Such a great performance. I hope they make a few more and keep it to this standard ... it will be hard though. So now I have seen Speed Racer and The Dark Knight as well.
