wh’art is that?
Yesterday Luke and I were in Newtown for lunch. We parked in this side street and as I got out of the car we noticed this art gallery sort of thing. The doors were open so we wandered in and met a guy called Nick. Turns out it is a space that a production group does whatever they want with it – short films, theatre productions, art shows. It was a great space.
It was all set up for a book launch and they had all this really impressive art on the walls – turns out they were the original sketches. Luke and I were rapt in them. Nick invited us back for the book launch but we couldn’t make it. I found these pictures on their website. The book is called ‘Midnight Morning‘.

Hey Paul,
I’m one of the artists from the exhibition, I’m glad you liked the work!
If you’re at all interested, we’ve decided to hold an encore public showing this Saturday at 11am-6pm at 12 O’Connell St, Newtownn where you can meet the artists, view the work for the last time and check out the finished books.
There’s more info at http://www.popperbox.com/midnightmorning/ and the flier’s at http://www.popperbox.com/midnightmorning/images/midnight_morning_exhibition_signing.jpg
Hope to see you there!
Cheers,
Matt.
