Yesterday was my birthday so Laura and I went out to all my favourite places. It turned into a big photo trip as well. Was one of my favourite days to date.

After a few days on flickr, i discovered an idea called the 365 project. The idea is that you take, at least, 1 photo a day to document where you were and what you were doing on that day. I decided I would do my own version with my iPhone (I finally got one), Hipstamatic, and my flickr photo stream. So far I have taken a bunch of photos over the last week and have at least found one I am happy with each day.

These photos were taken out and about round Gymea. First is my shadow (I don’t usually have the shape of Grimace) and the second is a photo taken of graffiti on the walkway up to Bianco Nero.

Since moving to Gymea, I have found this great cafe called Bianco Nero - amazing coffee. I am there daily – it’s my Cheers. I tool this photo sitting at my regular spot one afternoon.

A few days later I was on my way to a meeting in Cronulla for a meeting at HAM, another great cafe which I did the logos/design for. I got out of the car and was struck by how great the sky looked behind this unit block.
