The Spirit - three part poster The Dark Knight - three part poster

I saw these two posters going around the net for movies that I am stinging to see. One is the new Frank Miller movie called ‘The Spirit‘ which is sort of Sin City style. They did this great poster set which when combined makes the complete design.

I then saw that for ‘The Dark Knight‘ did something similar. These ones can also stand alone, but I do like the idea of how they all work together.

Darren's Tattoo

Darren asked me to help him with a design … didn’t realise at first that it would be tattooed on his arm 4 days later! I wanted to put my ‘designed by Jenerate Graphics‘ below it, but I was going to have to foot the bill for the extra letters, so I am saving up and I am going to add it later.

The design is a ‘J‘ for Jasper and ‘T‘ for Tahl.

sun_shower.jpg

I took this last week when it was pouring outside yet it was still fairly sunny. I did all I could with my camera to get it to shoot fast and capture the rain in mid air, but it was getting dark and the rain was moving so fast. I think this one came out alright though!

Whenever there is a sun shower, Laura always says “It’s a monkey’s wedding!” Which I always though was pretty weird. Turns out it is a South African saying.

Day / Night template switcher

I had some fun with the jenerate graphics website the other day. I added a night scene to my clear day design and created a switcher to go between them. Go and have a play!

Today Derek, Jac and Sebastian took Laura and I to see the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Brisbane art gallery. It was a great privilege to see the originals. There was a kids section as well which had a booth where you could take your photo, select four different Warhol styles, (same as photo booth) then email it to yourself. So we went wild!

To add to that, there was a room filled with massive foil pillows that floated round. You could go in and just play with them. Sebastian had the time of his life … and admittedly so did I.
