Adelaide was an amazing experience. Apart from it being all free, it was just great to be part of such a big music festival/fair with all the attention on making music and having a career in the music industry. Great stuff.
The Explode Showcase was too much fun. Even though I couldn’t get any good photos of us when we played (cause I was busy) I got some great ones of other bands, and then a few around town. To check out more photos, see the fisherking website. These are just some of my favourites.

This is the newest addition to the greater Hanna family - Elliot Bartholemew Hanna. Coming up to 3 months now. Derek and Jac visited last weekend with Sebastian and Elliot and Laura and I got to meet him.
This face could mean a number of things: ‘What is that noise?’, ‘What you talking about Willis?’, or ‘I’m doing some business’. Either or all.

Found out yesterday that FisherKing won triple j’s Fuse Festival Unearthed competition. We are all pretty amped. In 2 weeks time we are flown down to Adelaide to play at an industry showcase.
It was pretty suprising to log onto triple j’s website and find 4 familiar faces staring back!

I just finished and launched the new FisherKing website. Pretty happy with it! I am pretty sure it is the biggest website I have ever put together.
One thing I can’t take credit for are the illustrations. All from the magic hand of Sam Stephenson.

Every now and then you find yourself recommending to anyone and everyone a movie that you fell in love with. This year I have seen two already.
Gran Torino was really outstanding. Really entertaining, and exceptionally moving.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was captivating - one of the best films I have ever seen. I didn’t blink in the whole 3 hours. A large part of that could have to do with the gargantuan man-crush I have on Brad Pitt, but that is my issue.
