On Saturday I was awarded the prestigious ‘Cookie Award : “I Just … Ran! “ ‘.  It is our equivalent to man-of-the-match. Felt pretty special. I think it was more of a ‘most improved’ or ‘he really tried hard’ award, but either way, I’ll take it.

You can also see my new flouro green soccer boots.  They get a lot of attention on the pitch – sometimes not the good type either.

Laura and I have been heading on adventures when we can. Laura likes the walking, and I like the taking photos – works out well. Today we went for an adventure around Botany / Sandringham Bay. Fantastic weather and beautiful scenery. Made for good times and great photos.
I’ve been taking a lot of photos through my sunglasses lens – ie, holding my iphone camera up to the lens of my sunglasses. Been getting some great colour out of it.

Laura has been a sick over the past few weeks, but is on the mend.  Poor thing has been stuck inside for a long time, so this week we got out to Camellia Gardens for lunch – ate and had a wander round. I like our mid week days off together.

It has been a pretty hectic couple of weeks with FisherKing album mixing, covers gigs, plus a new band has thrown in the mix – ‘Seasons‘.

After a meeting at Cronulla I went for a walk down the beach – it had rained most of the morning and was about to start again but I trekked out onto the sand in the name of photography!
